Game Night

There’s something to be said about that group of friends you have that no matter how long you go without seeing each other, you always pick up where you left off.  Much kudos to Brian for hosting some games last night, and the setting for Fred’s second vlog entry.  It’s pretty scary actually because it is so easy now to post video on-line.  I first tried to download it into my video editing software.  No luck, “this program does not recognize your data”.  OK, I didn’t think it would work anyway.   I eventually succeeded in  playing  it in quicktime but with a weird picture, so that didn’t pan out.  After getting lost numerous times, and spending about two hours on Verizon’s website, I just went to youtube to see what they have to offer.  What do you know, all I had to do was create a “mobile” account at youtube, and then I can email the video directly from my phone to my youtube account and in a matter of seconds the whole world can see that even with my excellent charade skills Brian didn’t know what a lava lamp was called.  I guess big brother was right, in the future everyone does get their 15min of fame. 

Up way to early

Off to the gym after this quick post, was up at 4:30am after a clap of thunder and Laverne scared trying to get into our bed…note to self to put a towel on air conditioner so that when it rains, the water from the above air conditioner doesn’t tap….tap…tap….tap on ours.  Looking forward to Memorial Day weekend.  Going to go to Jamestown NY.  Lucy convention, seminar, thing.  Just glad to get out of NY for a weekend, and have some time off, Jim’s looking forward to Lucy. 

First real entry

If Rosie and Ross can do it, why can’t I?  We’ll see if there is more to come.  You’ll have to excuse the date.  Due to technical difficulties the video was posted the day after it was made.  I’ll try to be more current in future listings.
